    G'Day Uli,
Still have not been able to scan the diagram for the axle pressing
tool (scanner is buggered and we cannot afford a new one at the moment).
The whole process is not as scary or involved as people would have you
believe but you do need a good press to get the job done.
Regarding the threads in the chassis and sandblasting, don't worry
about protecting them, they will most likely need a tap running through
them in any case. Do that after you have painted. The bushes also should
be OK. Do not push them out if you are worried about damaging them. They
are fairly easily pushed out as each bush only goes a little less than
half way through from each side. They are readily available and if not
available, are very easily made if you have a friend with access to a
lathe and a supply source for bronze.
    Cheers
    Allan
