Yes it is sad for the passing of one of the acknowledged great men of the
20th century. And my wishes go to all those believers of the Catholic
faith. However the cardinals have in store for you all a magic puff of
white smoke and presently a new Pope chosen by God and elected by the
Cardinals.

But why were we disturbed during this evenings movie for late breaking news
from Rome. What, was the original announcement last night wrong, and he's
still alive? No that wasn't the reason. Was it, that like Jesus, P JP II
had arisen? No that wasn't the reason.

So, given that P JP II had died and was still dead, what was the reason for
interrupting our movie. Yes the late breaking news was that P JP II was
still dead and that lots of people had gathered outside the Vatican.

Why is that breaking news? There is always lots of people outside the
Vatican - sometimes more sometimes less but always lots of people, it's the
holy centre of the holy city. I guess there wasn't any other news to
interrupt our movie so that had to do!
