I am sure there has been a considerable amount of discussion on
replacing the Chassis bushings but as I am new to this ring (and
Rovers) I could sure use some advise on pressing in/out the chassis
bushings.

my "86 current is a powder coated frame with the rear bushings pressed
out (this weekend) and the font bushings still in. I have started to
push in the new rear bushing but am not having much success. I am
beging to damage one of them by cranking them in with a lond thredded
rod contraption I put together. It has worked to get them about
1/2-3/4 the way in but I am stripping the treds off any nuts I put on
to push them any further.

What is the right way to do this?
Is there any?

Thanks Much,

Ian
