Going over the carby this morning to make sure don't need any extra = bits. It came off a 1955 - 1997 cc engine I have in the garage and the = date stamp on the carb body is L355 which I am assuming is March 1955. = The original carby I thought - how lucky can you be? Then I took another look - what's this square plate with four screws? = What's this cam thingo on the other side of the accelerator spindle, = shouldn't there be something in that? Oops, no accelerator pump, just a = blanking plate (original looking but a blank just the same). Yuck, now = I have to find more bits, the accelerator pump set-up. =20 Does this sort of thing happen to others as much as it seems to happen = to me?=20 Lets hope the professionals have them?
