Despite contacting several companies I was unable to obtain a speedi sleeve.
It appeared that my purchase of one sleeve was not worth their effort. In
the end I resorted to cleaning the shaft as best I could to remove the
surface rust. I then use JB Weld and carefully wet and dried it to be flush
with the surface of the shaft. It was a bit of a fiddle but it has worked up
to now with a new double lip seal fitted.
