HI all,
Just an idle question. Why do some series land rovers have the centre
of the hubs painted orange. My 1952 80" has and I've now seen 3 others
with paint, which, like mine, looks at least 20-30 years old.
My 80" has no history of military service, but I wondered if it was
something used to designate the type of oil needed or some such
(possibly the axles have been swapped on mine?)
Any ideas or is it just fashion or farmers using up Fordson orange
paint ?
Jon
