I have forgotten what way the springs go. does the taller spring go
on the side with the gas tank? or is it based on the side of the
driver? I have a LHD 86" do I put the taller springs on the passenger
side (with the gas tank) or??? I thought it was based on the preload
weight added by the gas tank, but I cannot remember for sure.

Also are the check straps different sizes too?

Thanks,
Ian
