Noone else seems to be going to answer this so for what it is worth. If
you examine the parts book it refers to the springs as Drivers and
Passengers, so I would think that that is what it means and put the higher
spring on the driver's side.
The check straps are the same lengths for the semi-floating axle, but the
fully floating axle has differing lengths for right-hand and left-hand and
in this case they go on that side regardless of whether the vehicle is
left or right steer.
