Having had the privilage of a flight in a P51D I don't care if it was all original or new manufacture the sound of that Merlin during the ground runup and at full chat on the climb out is something I will Never forget!!!! .................Paul.....................
 
PS if anybody has a twin seat MK IV I could be up for a comparison flight!

That's why in some circles the original vehicle in it's original
unrestored state is more authentic and valuable than if restored.
