Peter, Tom

Thanks for the info. Yes I have Rover's North, D.A.P., and Abingdon Spares
on the hit list.
Peter, yes I would love to do some off-roading. What do you suggest?
I inquired about shipping my LR up there but they quoted US$1995 each way.
That won't work. Before everyone tells me to just drive it there..... I
already tried. It's a 1600 mile trip, each way. SWAMBO has made it clear
this is a family vacation and that we wont spare a week each way driving the
LR so that I (and my son) can get our thrills! (Diana, maybe you can talk
some sense into her.)

Anybody in the Northeast want to rent-a-rover for a couple of weeks????

Ben, I'll get something together for you, at least a visit to Woodstock.
Did you want to do some off-roading?

I also have a webber and I'll never go back!

To our New England (and Canadian) area list members: I will be on vacation
for about 3 weeks in June near Burlington, Vermont. Are there any LR type
activities or events going on then?

Ian, I love my webber and it installs in a snap onto the 2-liter with a mere
reversal of the throttle linkage arm at the carb. Did wonders for my '57
107" SW.

Hi Ian,
if you are willing to dismantle and rebuild a second hand Solex carb (pics
available), you can call Red Dragon Restorations, Mr. L.Stafford Dovey, in
the UK, tel. +44-1597-810058, and he will surely find you one. All necessary

replacements parts have so far been available over the internet and I couls
give you all necessary addresses.
good luck
