Yes, but to break-up the long drive we are spending a few days in New York
City and Washington DC and it will be cumbersome to arrive at a hotel in the
city with the LR on a trailer.  Also, the slower drive speed means more time
before the vacation starts, and both of these "inconveniences" take us back
to the SWAMBO thing.

So, we all know it can be done...., but maybe not this time!
