I have an E type Jag that was well and truly coated with waxoyl or
something similar at least 18 years ago.
I guess the copious quantities that some one used then is what has saved
it until now.
I now need to remove this so that I can start preparing the body etc for
a renovation/restoration
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what can be sprayed on if
possible and then pressure sprayed off.
So far the only thing that has worked anywhere near successfully has
been mineral turps and elbow grease and then a good degreaser to remove
the final traces of waxoyl
The bonnet was done this way and then given a light sandblast and came
up really well It is now time to attack the big bits especially the
rear wheel arches and the rear end area and the rest of the under body
areas..
Thanks
