Mike,

It also depends how original you want the heater to be.

The original Clayton had a Klaxon motor which can be recognised by the cast
steel casing with a rounded end and external brush housings. 

The modern replacement that I was shown uses a pressed steel motor similar
to the Smiths heater type. 

The Klaxon motor is more feeble than the later ones.
