Hi Graham,
For our high-performance 4 speeds we recommend API GL-5 MT-1 SAE 90
petroleum-based oils. The MT-1 subspec puts back the yellow metal
protection that was deleted from stock GL-5. Avoid synthetics unless you
have prior experience with the formulation, they can make synchronization
impossible (too slippery and too tenacious). I use Valvoline in my 80";
don't know what's available where you are.
