Hello all,

It's high time I changed all the transmission oil. All the EP90 =
available now seems to be GL5 spec with high sulphur levels, what is =
most readily available seems to be EP 80W/90 to GL4 spec which still =
has some sulphur but at a much lower level.

At the moment I've got straight non EP sae90 gear oil in the gearbox, =
transfer box and overdrive; and the EP80W/90 in the axles and swivels.

How big a problem (if any!) is the supposed eating of yellow metal =
bushes by the sulphur, is it worth worrying about? What do other people =
use or recommend?

It's a 1957 88" that is in daily use and does regular heavy towing.

Thanks,
Graham Wood
