Howdy Mark,

As was mentioned, plugs can cause a drop in power if they have been in 
service for too long.  Also, moist weather can wreak havoc on your points.  
Try giving them a clean and regapping.  The oxide that can build up on them 
starts to corrode in the presence of moisture, leaving them with a reduced 
conductivity. If this does not smarten it up, try for compression testing.
