hello Ike

How did You test the bumpers thoroughly "on road"??
And how do You get the bumper to stop with it's deformation just shy of the
horns?

I was joking with the affiliation hint, BTW, but I think Your customers
might sooner than later need chassis replacement parts.
I find stock bumpers and wings easier and cheaper to replace than front
horns and cross members.
Or better yet, avoid replacement altogether by improving driving skills.

I have no need of supposition, as these have been thoroughy tested off
road and on. I have found that the blade will deform before the frame horn
which is why I use 3/16 for the body of the bumper. It takes quite an
impact though. You are welcome to test this for yourself if you like.
These are much stronger than the flimsy stock ones which bend in a stiff
breeze, but they still look original. No royalties, I have no affiliation
with Marsland or Richards. Feel free to ask any more quesions you might
have. Hope your 80 is doing well.
