Hi alex,

i have recently changed the rear springs on my 58 88", mine where threaded,
so i would advise you not to use a hammer.
i had the same problem ( the bush had stuck to the bolt ), i had to use alot
of WD40 and then heat, then i used an extended spanner and eventualy it came
lose.
Cheers
Mark

  Hello All

I am removing the rear springs from my Land Rover Series 1 1953. I have
removed the rear shackle on both springs no problems. Now I am trying to get
the bolt out of the front. It won't come out are they threaded or do I need
a big hammer?

  Regards

  Alex
