I found this whilst flicking through the virtual classified ads.

Private collector, from Lisbon, Portugal places=20
LR series I, dated 1955 for sale
I own this vehicle for about 10 years but I gave=20
very little use to it, namely in the last 3 years=20
period in which it was kept under cover inside a garage.

I provided a number of engine and other basic=20
repairs, at Portuguese authorized LR repair=20
shops, always without tempering in the original=20
and genuine main parts (only extra item added,=20
mandatory according to Portuguese law, was rear=20
stop lights). I did not even add safety belts or=20
changed lateral mirrors. It is a left-hand drive unit.

Vehicle is energised by a benzine/petrol-fuelled=20
engine and is painted fire-red. Removable windows=20
are OK as is the olive/beige canvas cover. Body=20
has some scratches or the need for some attention=20
on account of a few bumps against objects (no=20
accident to report). Engine seems to be OK but=20
brakes do need some repair. A paint job will be appropriate=85

Before me it was owned by a Travel Agency, which=20
used it to provide off-road mountain trips to=20
tourists. Before that period (probably another 10=20
years) it was a Command/Utility car used by a=20
Portuguese Volunteer Fire Brigade (it is painted red all over=85).

I am prepared to let the vehicle go for around=20
Euro 4 000 (OBO...) and I will therefore welcome=20
any offer that will allow for the fast removal of=20
the vehicle from current storage place as I need to clear it soon!

I will assist on transportation from Portugal if=20
required by buyer. A number of =93Land Rover=20
goodies=94 and removed parts will go along with the=20
vehicle. Photographs are available upon request although of a poor=
 quality...
