Good day!

I am pleased to report that I have reached Peter Vollers home in 
Woodstock, Vermont (5000+ km since departure) without significant 
difficulty, however, the green discharge lamp has been lit more than half 
the time since taking on petrol at Salisbury, New Brunswick 1000 or so km 
back.  As this does not seem to present any obvious drain on the electrics 
I have been ignoring it beyond looking for obvious loose wires or fugitive 
grounds in the charging circuit.  I'll check it when (a) I'm home late 
tomorrow or (b) when the engine quits or (c) when the fire starts.

More (with luck) tomorrow.
