You are right about the poly bushes being easier to fit.  What is more they
get easier to fit with each subsequent set as they wear away the chassis.

Narrow spring bushes are available from Dunsfold amongst others I have
just fitted a set!
The two part chassis bushes for the front are unavailable so I fitted
longer series 2 types.
I prefer the rubber bushings however polybushes are much easier to fit (and
remove)
