G'day Lyndon,

More properly called the Canning Stock Route, the
track has had numerous books written about driving it
and the history of it. Driving in convoy is essential
and apparently one can buy fuel somewhere in the
midddle of it now.

The Series 1 club of WA travelled it last year; check
out http://users.tpg.com.au/adsly0mp/lsocwa/ I have
some trouble on this site bringing up all the pages,
but it might just be me, not many pics but a good
write up.

Cheers Charlie
