I don't know the part number but one of the batteries specified for an old
Jag fits the holder in my 80". This is with the terminals the right way
round for negative earth. Our local Halfords had that when I last needed
one. There is a similar one with the terminals reversed but it was not a
standard stock item and would have had to be ordered in.

Can anyone recommend a battery to replace the failing one in my 1955 series
1? This is not original and I don't need a new one that is 'original' if
such a thing exists, just a good quality modern battery of the right size
and available in the UK.
