Hi all,
Talking of steering box repairs, is there any way of testing a steering box? The reason for asking is that the steering on my series one has always been a bit 'vague' and as the vehicle is currently in bits, I wondered if it may be good practice to get the box rebuilt. I do not know if the 'play' that I experienced was due to the condition of the steering box, but as part of my rebuild, I am also replacing the front swivels etc, and will also be fitting a series two support bracket to the steering box and bulkhead, and just wondered if it was worth getting the box done.
Any ideas as to what the cost might be as well?
Cheers
