SER1 1.6 litre rear main seal

Hi All

I have a 1950 80" thats had the common Holden engine conversion. Its 
currently getting a 1.6 litre birthday present .

The rear main seal in the 1.6 litre is a two part affair . What is the best 
way of affecting a lasting seal, the original setup was a cork ring that 
fits into a groove , is there a neoprene insert available ? What do you guys 
do ?
