Being that I'm both a huge fan of Sir David Attenborough , Land Rovers , The
First Overland Book and lets not forget the Royal Geographical Society. I
sure you can understand what great sadness I'm feeling right about now! All
do to the fact that I'm unable to attend such a once in a life time event!!

Unfortunately I made my long awaited trip to England, way back in April! It
certainly was a dream finally come true to visit the Rover factory in
Solihull! and to travel all over the Island, but actually meet Sir
Attenborough in person would be the shinning moment of my life and to also
meet the men who have encouraged us all to get out there and explore the
world in are Rovers would be the icing on the cake and all this in the Royal
Geographical Society! it's just to cool for words. Now would it really be
silly of me to sell the Series I and run out to buy a plane ticket on the
next flight?

Some how I don't think my 11 year old Daughter would understand it if I sold
the Rover, after all I promised it to her as soon as she was old enough for
her drivers license!!

Perhaps some one out there going to the event could pick me up a copy of the
reprinted book? Hopefully signed by the team and Sir David Attenborough!!!
I would reword you most handsomely!! Perhaps I could even send you Series I
parts from Canada in exchange?? It's a long shot but I cant express how much
I loved the First Overland book, and how thrilled I was to hear of Sir
Attenborough's involvement! A man who I've admired ever since discovering a
copy of his book Zoo Quest, 12 years ago in a used book store well traveling
in Australia. Were indecently my 11 year old daughter Acacia was conceived
(sorry! not in a Rover) So travel and Land rovers are also in her blood!

P.S. Some one please take lots of pictures!
