Hi

I am definitely not a 'scientist' in this area (!) but I have used the pellets for 5 years and can report one major benefit - they stop the unleaded fuel from solidifying both on the pick up gauze and in the tank (if left long enough). As for what effect they have on valve longevity I don't know, but for me they have been worth what I paid for them over a 5 year period.

I have also switched to Tetraboost (which basically makes unleaded fuel into leaded) from Millers VSP for long distance motoring, which I reckon is the only time that the valves suffer any significant wear.

However I still suffer failures of flexi fuel lines from the pump to the carb, even though these have reduced since using Tetraboost.

  Paco,

Re Fuel Cat...I have yet to meet someone, apart from those trying to sell
these (or similar) devices, who has obtained any benefit from them. I think
they are probably a con, multi-level marketing scheme and a rip off price
for what is only a tiny box of magnets or lead pellets for the fuel line.

For your low mileage use, I wouldn't bother with anything. See how it runs.
The only sure long term way is the LRSOC parts.

Regards

Martin
