Hi Martin,

Well, you must be very keen to walk all that way - its a fair climb up to Keith's place, sat right on the hill tops. I have taken both Tom Bache and Uli up there, but we have always gone by Land Rover! its much easier that way..... but like you say, it must be a good 8 miles. Keith is a very clever engineer, and as you probably know, made all the presses he uses to make wings/fenders himself. 

Charlie - I don't know the full story of his rebuild (restoration or replica) but need to go and see him this weekend to pick up a water pump for someone with a series one in France who is finding it hard to pay Keith ( I don't think he likes credit cards or paypal etc!) , so I will try and find out a bit more for you - maybe even get some photo's for the Garage.....
