I have using Mil pintle hooks for the last 15 years towing anything from 1/4
ton Jeep trailers to 3 1/2 ton flatbeds.
The only trouble I,ve had with this setup was driver error. Close the hook
before taking off, Doooh!!

If anyone has experience of towing (f'rinstance) a plant hire trailer,
compressor or generator on a NATO hook I'd like to know.  Alternatively if
anyone can let me know the inside and outside diameters of a Brockhouse
ring, that could be helpful.
