The dipstick assy Rocky Mountain supplies with the Roverdrive is threaded
too large to replace the oil level plug on the backside of my TT's
transfer case. Without the dipstick checking the level can only be done
from below once the overdrive is in place, so I'd like to machine up a
proper replacement with the correct thread. Can someone advise what that
might be? Am I right in assuming it's BSW? I'd pull the plug I have but
I don't have Whitworth thread gauges to confirm anything.

Besides, its been quiet on the list. Where did everyone go? I'm still
looking for another car of two for Labrador, and possibly a co-driver --
my usual has been told his 25th wedding anniversary takes priority over
hundreds of kilometers of black spruce, if you can imagine.

Thanks.
