Have the rear brakes been changed to 11" also ?  I believe it can be
dangerous to be over-braked on the front compared to the rear, although
I believe it is acceptable the other way round. I think you would be
safer to have 11" all round and also upgrade the master cylinder, but go
for a more recent one as the original ones are very costly, and the
conversion simple.
