G'Day Jamie,
Do not mix your brake components. Best idea would be to obtain a
pair of series II SWB brake backing plates drums and wheel cylinders and
fit them onto the your axle. The diameter of Series II and IIA SWB wheel
cylinders front and rear is the same as Series I.
Note also that the Series II front axle has a 2" (51mm) wider track
than the 86" semi floating rear axle. This combination, whilst it would
probably work OK will look odd and may be illegal in many countries
(certainly is here).
