Ian,

There are some slightly, only slightly, longer shackles around but I don't
know what model they are off.

You could easily make some longer shackles for an 80" using normal mild
steel. The thread on one shackle is a normal BSF one. The shackles could
perhaps be reinforced as the military extended ones are with a bolt and
spacer at the mid point.
