Hi,
I would be sure what model it is before buying a hood from mail order.
You say 1951, but the 86 came several years later.
If it is truly a 51, then it would be 80".
If you don't know, them use a tape measure and go from center of wheel in 
front to the center of wheel in back, while the front wheels are straight 
ahead.
This will give you a better idea.
Also post the number stamped in the ID plate. Someone on the list will look 
it up and verify the year.
