>Hi folks,

Don't know if anyone's interested, but when I went into my local commercial
vehicle testing station and garage, for an acetylene gas bottle
incidentally, I spotted a S1 hardtop, on top of a scrap tanker body in the
breakers yard bit round the side.
I asked if it was available and was told to have a look at it and see if I
was interested. It appears to have a tropical roof, and full side windows,
though one is cracked and one alpine light has gone altogether. No sign of
a back door, but it may be about as they apparently broke an 86" some time ago.
£80 was mentioned, after I showed interest, but guess that would be
negotiable. don't know if thats particularly cheap or not. (Gut feeling
says it's not!) but thought I'd mention it if anyone's in need of one.
Think I'll stick with the truck cab / tilt choice on mine.

Btw this is in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England if the distance is an issue!

Regards
