Tony, on my late model 107 SW, I do not recall seeing the winch =
mounting tubes in the crossmember, nor does it have the strengthening =
strip under the rear axle. =20
Thanks,

Subject: SER1 107 SW Chassis
G,Day all
Can any one answer these.
1 Did the 107 Station Wagon continue to the end of production with
the same chassis, having the Capstan winch mounting tubes in the
crossmember under the rad support.
I belive the rad support/ grill panel changed to steel on the SW when
the 88/109 came on the market.
The winch mountion tubes are not fitted to the 88/109 chassis and I =
was
wondering if they omitted them on the later SW chassis.
2 Does the SW have the strengthening strip under the rear axle, =
fully
floating type.
3 Has any one tried eletronic ingition on the 2lt motor ?
Cheers Tony
