Ulrico.

From what you say it sounds like you have a spark, but it is way out of =
timing.  It is possible that the distributor timing may be exactly 180 =
degrees out.
If you are not absolutely sure the timing is exactly correct, may I =
suggest you free off the distributor clamp, lift the whole distributor =
up about 5 mm and then rotating the rotor arm 180 degrees, push the =
distributor back down, clamp it up and try again.  This only takes a few =
minutes to do.

In theory this should not be possible to do, but I have been able to do =
this with worn distributors.
