Hi All,

I was there and met up with Tom Bache and his party of Jeff, Mike and Pete from the States. They certainly had a good day and bought loads. I think the bargain of the day was a Series One for £50 UKP!! I saw Nick Howard sell that to someone as I arrived at his stall. (He advertises electrical parts in the Legend - used to be called Heritage spares but is now something else) 

There did seem to be quite a bit of Series One stuff around which makes a change, even a 2litre diesel engine but there was no way I could have got that back home to Yorkshire sadly. My bargain of the day was a new safari door with the spare wheel mount at the bottom for my Series 2A, for a tenner.

It was my first visit, and a great day it was too - my only complaint was that there were just too many stalls to get round in one day. I also made the mistake of not buying things as soon as I saw them, because I could not find my way back to where they were later........
