Hi Lyndon,
I went to my first 'sortout' last April, to meet up with Tom Bache and his posse from the states. It was an amazing place, I have never seen so many spare parts for Land Rovers all in one place. Yes, you do need loads of cash as well, and a trailer may be useful depending how carried away you get. I was like a kid in a sweet shop! The only mistake I made was seeing something I liked the look of, and then planning to come back and negotiate a price, in most cases I could not find the stall again, and if I could, the item had usually been sold anyway. You also really do need a full day to get around and see everything, its quiet exhausting, but fun!
I may go again next year too, have to try and persuade SWMBO!
Cheers

I hope anyone who made it to the Sortout got what they were looking for.
As yet I've never been but hope to make it to the 1st LR Sortout in
2006. Is it as hard to keep cash in your pocket as I suspect?? I have
the feeling that when I go I might need a trailer to bring pits and
pieces home....you never know what might be useful in the future!
