Greetings All!

I think its just one of those things we have to put up with.

Verity had a speedo on which the odometer did not work, this was due to some
teeth missing off a cog, tried repairing with epoxy and filing grooves back
on - didn't work, so sourced a replacement speedo, odometer worked OK, but
speedo always bounced around 5-8 MPH each side of actual speed, then one day
started working normally, then a few weeks later started to stick at highest
speed gained - very tempting to tap speedo to bring needle back down but had
to resist during night when headlamps were on as any vibration next to light
switch would result in instant blackout!!!
It will all be fixed soon, when I get round to it.
By the way, I recently had to disconnect the batteries on my recovery truck
to give them a good recharge, and the tachograph/speedo has not worked
since, originally going up to full deflection and now not moving at all -
any ideas out there?
