Howdy Toby,

Yikes... They could be twins. I do not have my serial # handy but I can get
it to you next time I am up at my shop. My '57, 88" came with a truck cab
when I recieved it. It had about 4 other paint jobs since its original
colour and I cannot bring myself to the bright yellow again. If it had more
of its original colour to begin with, I might have. It too, had some cheesy
trailer lighting. The wiring was botched so I am making my own system. The
2 Litre would run, but had a burned valve and was in need of a major
overhaul. The guy I bought it from gave me all the bits needed to make the
2.25 conversion. I originally wanted a series 2 again, but I could not turn
the poor thing away. My objective is a serviceable daily runner so I can ply
the backroads for hunting, fishing, and great cigar smoking vantage points.
