Subject: SER1 48-53 Windscreen
Hi all
Does anyone know a source of the rubber section used around the =
windscreen glass on the 48-53 windscreens? I have some ex govt sections, =
but these are much too heavy and are presumably for a later model. The =
origional looks like a channel section. I'm considering cycle inner tube =
at present but it's hard to get a neat job.
Thanks in anticipation.
David

Subject: SER1 Broken wheel studs
Hi all,
I have just managed to snap one of the studs on the front hub of my =
86"=20
series 1 when replacing the wheel.
How easy are these to replace? I noticed the one that came out had =
been=20
welded at the back by the previous owner and the thread is =
knackered, so I=20
would guess the thread in the hub might be dodgy too?
I have a couple of series 3 axle assemblies, are these =
interchangable? I=20
notice the nut spacing for the drive member is the same, so could I =
use my=20
original S1 drive memebr and the S3 hub or are the bearings =
different?
Any advice would be apprciated
Thanks
Tony=20
