HI Everyone,
Does anyone have a capstan winch roller fairhead mounted on an 86/88? Mine
is the type with the alloy ends. I "offered it up" to the bumper for a look,
and can't see how it is to mount as the castings appear to hang below the
bumper, and lower mounting holes would be right at the lower flat part on the
bumper. I have a picture here to e-mail off line to further the discussion. I
tried the parts on a later S111 bumper and doesn't fit them either as that
bumper is too tall and deeper, the opposite problem.

Our plan is to drive UDF to Mass. for the Series One event this weekend
coming, so I had the roof off and replaced the 50 year old weatherstrip under the
windscreen. Going to have a go at the door gaps next as Mira doesn't like
the drafts and the mobile shower when it rains!
