Hi,

Here's another question, as I said in an earlier post I am restoring a =
steering wheel for my series 1. I have cleaned the rim and will fill the =
cracks with filler and sand it smooth. I would then like to bring the =
rim back to its original nice shiny black colour.
Has anyone got any suggestions how this can be done, does simply =
painting it black work OK, is there a good type of paint you can =
recommend. Alternatively does anyone know of any other substances that =
will do this job?

Thanks for any advice.

Tony Boyle.
