Poppycock !

Although infinately better than the Series 111,they
were not the best Land Rovers ever made !

The best Land Rovers were made in the Fifties ,compare
the thickness of the chassis steel and the quality of
the chrome swivels ,well made doors and fittings and
genuine pride in workmanship - don't yer know !

The obese styling of the series 2 was also a
retrograde step - by gad !
