Uli,

Some friction parts were different for the German market - I think there
must have been rules about asbestos that were different from the rest of the
world.  Also don’t forget that Borg and Beck and others manufactured in many
countries.

Fichtel & Sachs, perhaps.  I don't know where Rover bought their OEM 
clutches, but your disk is probably a replacement.
