On occasion I have had to drink warm beer - but that was when the Engel car
fridge/freezer got stolen and I had to go away without it.

Last time I was in the UK I was driving up to Scotland, it was a
particularly hot May.  Old people were dying of heat stroke in their homes
because it had been 28+ Deg C.  Travelling up towards Nottingham we decided
to pull in and get some petrol.  In the shop there were a number of soft
drink cans (soda to our NADA friends) sitting on top of a domestic fridge
with a sign saying "COOL DRINKS".  I thought that would be nice, so I went
to open the fridge to get a couple of cans.  The shop keeper in a
confronting tone asked what I was doing.  I replied I was getting a cool
drink.  His response was that the cans on the top of the fridge were the
COOL DRINKS!

Arrgh - what more can I say.
