Hi Lyndon and All,

Hopefully an article in LRE will generate some
interest!  I don't recall if you said previously, but
a similar approach in Legend (assuming all the readers
aren't present on the mailing list ;) may also help.

My suggested revision is as follows (plain text):


Reprint: “Original Land Rover Series 1”

You may have come across a gem of a book entitled
“Original Land Rover Series 1: The Restorers
Guide to Civil and Military Models 1948-58”,
written by LRE editor James Taylor.  Invaluable to
restorers and enthusiasts alike, this precious book is
now years out of print, and second hand copies of the
book are becoming increasingly hard to find or are
often very expensive to purchase.  Members of the
Series 1 community have contacted the company holding
the current publishing rights to this book to
negotiate the possibility of reprinting
“Original Land Rover Series 1”.  Given
sufficient confirmed interest, the publishing company
may consider reprinting the book.  To establish
interest levels I would invite anyone interested in
purchasing a copy, should a reprint of the book be
made, to contact me at leawortley@xxx.xxx or on +###
028 3884 1287 between X PM - Y PM GMT.

I just clipped, rearranged, and got the odd spelling
thing.  Also, my preference (just me) is to refer to
the community as a whole, not specifically the Series
I Garage.  Otherwise, added country code for global
readers (unless that's the 028?), and evening hours
with time zone - just in case.  

Thanks Lyndon for the legwork you're doing here, I'm
sure it is appreciated by the Series I community. Take
