Welcome aboard! To find out more about that British registration plate, you can contact vehicles.dvla@xxxxx.xxx.xx who should be able to tell you when and where the registration was issued. However, two things here, one, its a UK government department, so expect to wait a week or so for a reply, and secondly, it may have absolutely no connection with the vehicle whatsoever, and could end up misleading you in your research.

It may also be worth contacting the Heritage museum at Gaydon for build details, it may be quicker than contacting the factory.
