Interesting! Just been up to Craddocks for a clutch, for the Transit
engined 107". The young lad on the counter looked a bit bewildered after I
asked for a late 2A clutch, "What year is it sir?" "1954" "Petrol or
Diesel?" "Er..."
Anyway he was good enough to spread out a range of clutches on the counter
so I could match up the one I'd brought in, which was what I wanted really
so I cant complain, though my main reason for going there was that I was
going to Birmingham anyway.
On the financial front, my fiance has just reached that 'milestone' with
her 86", the new bulkhead, and front axle rebuild bits being the main
culprits. All we need to do now is bung it back together, hopefully without
spending too much more (Yeah right...)
cheers
